Over 100 crore rupees of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s outstanding dues to be paid soon: Social Welfare Minister

Dehradun. The state government will soon pay over 100 crore rupees of outstanding dues to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital for various contracted health schemes. Social Welfare Minister Khajan Das, during his darshan at Shri Darbar Sahib, said that while other hospitals have discontinued the Ayushman, Golden Card, and ESI schemes, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has consistently supported the government by continuing to provide services, and the government will provide all possible assistance to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. He openly praised the grand renovation work undertaken by Sri Darbar Sahib at the Maa Ambika Devi Temple in Rajpur.
Social Welfare Minister Khajan Das visited Sri Darbar Sahib on Wednesday, paid obeisance, and prayed for the prosperity of the state. He also paid a courtesy visit to Sri Darbar Sahib’s Sajjade Gaddi Nashin, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, and received his blessings. During the meeting, the two discussed contemporary issues in the state, particularly those related to environmental protection, public health services, and social welfare.
As per Sri Darbar Sahib tradition, the Cabinet Minister was accorded a grand welcome. Khajan Das praised the excellent healthcare services provided by Sri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, stating that the institution plays a vital role in providing accessible and quality treatment to the public. Meanwhile, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj shared information about the remarkable work being done by Sri Guru Ram Rai University in the field of higher education. This was Khajan Das’s first visit to Sri Darbar Sahib after becoming a Cabinet Minister.
On this occasion, Social Welfare Minister Khajan Das, while providing information about various public welfare schemes run by the Social Welfare Department, stated that the government is committed to providing assistance to the last person in society. He said that the schemes being run by the Social Welfare Department for the elderly, the disabled, women, and the economically weaker sections are providing long-term benefits and bringing positive changes in the living standards of the common people.
