Dehradun Police takes strict action against Aman Swedia
Serious allegations have been made on the internet media against Guru Ram Rai Darbar Sahib, Jhanda Sahib Dehradun for inciting religious sentiments, defamation and spreading public unrest and strict action has been demanded.
Dehradun: Dehradun Police has taken strict action against Aman Swedia in the Matawala Bagh case run by Shri Darbar Sahib.
Late on Tuesday night, Kotwali Police filed a case against Amar Swedia under serious sections. Police has registered a First Information Report (FIR). Doon Police raided the hideouts of Aman Swedia but the accused is said to be absconding. On the orders of the court, the ban continues in Matawala Bagh without the permission letter (gate pass) of Sri Darbar Sahib.
It is noteworthy that in a meeting held two months ago between the district administration, Dehradun police and Shri Darbar Sahib management, it was decided that some other place should be found for wrestling and the arena located at Matawala Bagh, run by Shri Guru Ram Rai Darbar Sahib. For this, Shri Darbar Sahib decided to find a place at Mathurawala.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, Ajay Singh said that no one is allowed to take the law in their hands. The police will take the strictest action against the criminals who take the law in their hands. No one is allowed to spread religious frenzy and unrest in the society. Legal action will be taken against the person who breaks the law under relevant sections. Shri Darbar Sahib management has praised the working of Dehradun police.
On the other hand, Shri Darbar Sahib management has already filed a defamation claim of Rs 25 crore in the Hon’ble Court against Aman Swedia.
