*Clear message to those committing cyber fraud while living in Uttarakhand – STF will take strict action.*
*Senior Superintendent of Police STF Navneet Singh Bhullar while giving information said that in today’s modern technological era, cyber criminals are also making illegal money from cyber criminals. New methods are being used to defraud the general public.* Giving information in this matter, it was told that *some time ago, on the portal of I4C, about 30 complaints of the same type were seen prima facie from the states like Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi etc., in which a cyber fraudster from Nanda Ki Chowki, Premnagar area was committing fraud with many youths across the country through his fake website Neutrino Lab.* Taking cognizance of these complaints, Senior Superintendent of Police, STF Uttarakhand directed his STF team to investigate and take action against this cyber fraudster. After analysing the mobile numbers and bank accounts of the cyber thug registered in the complaints received on the online portal 1930, as well as contacting the complaining youths, the victims told that *this cyber thug first contacts those youths through LinkedIn account, then after taking interviews with them in the name of giving them job in his company, he forces them to buy Pantab from his company Neutrino Lab itself, and extorts Rs. 5000 to 6000 from them and then blocks them.* After investigating the continuous activities of this cyber thug, *it was found that he is an engineering student in an educational institute located in Premnagar area,* whom the STF team caught late last night from Premnagar police station area, and *recovered 01 laptop, 01 mobile phone, 2 Pantabs, 04 bank cards, 02 check books, 01 diary and 01 note from his possession *Cyber fraudster Kripal Sharma resident of Siliguri West Bengal* has been arrested and a case of fraud and IT Act has been registered by STF sub-inspector Vipin Bahuguna at Premnagar police station. During the interrogation by STF, information about two current accounts of the cyber fraudster has also been received, whose investigation will reveal how much money he has obtained by cheating so many youths so far.
♦️ Details of interrogation of the cyber accused- *During interrogation, the accused told that he used to contact unemployed young men and women on his LinkedIn account number and lured them with online jobs in his company and told them that they would be provided questions on various subjects like Physics, Biology and other subjects, for which they have to make a video of the correct answer and upload it on the website for which they would be paid. To solve the question paper, they have to buy a Pentab from my fake website neutrino.in and solve the answers of those questions using it and make a video of it and send it. They are also told that if they are not selected, their money will be refunded. When they contact me for refund, I don’t give them money saying time is over or I block them.*
