*Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Becomes a Model of Technological Excellence*

The services of the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code (UCC) are available in all 22 languages included in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, in addition to English. Applicants can also understand the UCC process and register with the help of AI.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had given clear instructions to the officials even before the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code that the registration process for various services under the UCC should be kept very simple, and the website should be user-friendly so that any person can register themselves. In this regard, ITDA has developed the UCC website in English and the 22 scheduled languages included in the Eighth Schedule – Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Sindhi, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Santali, and Manipuri. Thus, applicants can not only get information about the rules, procedures, and necessary documents for registration in their own language, but can also apply in their own language. AI assistance can also be used for this purpose.

*Our government has been working with the motto of “simplification to solution” from day one. In the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, special emphasis was placed on ensuring that the general public does not face any difficulties in registration. The UCC has emerged as a successful example of technological excellence. This is why not a single complaint has been received regarding the UCC process in the past year.*
