Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami prayed for the prosperity of the state by offering prayers at Shri Hanuman Dham in Chhoi, Ramnagar on Thursday. Welcoming all public representatives, officials, and devotees present, the Chief Minister said that every devotee present here has the special blessings of Bajrangbali, as no one can reach his court without his will.
Sharing his personal experiences, the Chief Minister said that he had attempted to visit here several times, but the program could not be arranged. This time, due to the grace of Bajrangbali, the program was suddenly arranged and he was fortunate to have darshan. Wishing happiness, prosperity, and well-being for the people of the state, he prayed to God to continue his blessings on everyone.
Referring to the historic achievements made under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that after years of waiting, the grand Ram Temple has been constructed in Ayodhya. The construction of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor has provided unprecedented facilities to devotees. Extensive development work is also underway at Kedarnath and Badrinath shrines, further strengthening Uttarakhand’s identity.
He stated that Uttarakhand is a land of gods, and protecting its faith and cultural heritage is the state government’s top priority. To this end, strict laws are being implemented in the state, and continuous efforts are being made to maintain religious harmony. He also stated that Uttarakhand has become the first state in the country to implement a Uniform Civil Code, setting an example for the entire nation.
The Chief Minister stated that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a pledge has been made to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country. He expressed confidence that with everyone’s support and blessings, this pledge will surely be fulfilled.
The Chief Minister stated that beautification and infrastructure development work is ongoing at the state’s major religious sites, including Kedarnath and Manaskhand. As a result of these efforts, the number of devotees and pilgrims visiting the state is increasing every year.
The Chief Minister stated that the upcoming Kumbh Mela is a matter of faith not only for Uttarakhand but for the entire country. Preparations for the Kumbh Mela, proposed in 2027, have already begun. The winter pilgrimage is also ongoing in the state and will continue until the doors of the Chardham shrines open. So far, approximately 160,000 pilgrims have visited various religious sites during the winter pilgrimage. Extensive preparations have also begun for the upcoming Chardham Yatra.
The Chief Minister stated that a large number of tourists and pilgrims are arriving in Uttarakhand even during the winter season, reflecting the growing influence of religious tourism in the state. The government’s goal is to further strengthen religious tourism so that Uttarakhand’s identity can be further strengthened globally. Expressing gratitude to all the devotees, the Chief Minister said, “May the blessings of Bajrangbali remain upon us all, and may our Uttarakhand continue to progress.” On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Ram Singh Kaida, MLA Ramnagar Diwan Singh Bisht, Mayor Haldwani Gajraj Bisht, BJP District President Pratap Bisht, Minister of State with independent charge Dr. Anil Kapoor Dabbu, Dinesh Arya, Shankar Koranga, Shanti Mehra, Kumaon Commissioner and Secretary to Chief Minister Deepak Rawat, IG Kumaon Riddhim Agarwal, District Magistrate Lalit Mohan Raiyal, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Manjunath TC along with other public representatives, officers, Acharya Vijay of Hanuman Dham Trust and Trust representatives and a large number of devotees were present.
