Special attention should be paid to improving health facilities in the state’s mountainous regions. Officials should take seriously the issues raised by MLAs in their constituencies and resolve them on a priority basis. Ensure that projects that can be resolved quickly are not unnecessarily delayed. Officials who cause unnecessary delays should be held accountable. Special attention should be paid to quality and timeliness in development works. All departments should coordinate with each other to resolve public problems.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami issued these instructions to officials during a review of the Chief Minister’s announcements in the assembly constituencies of Tharali, Karnaprayag, Kedarnath, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister stated that resolving public issues is the state government’s top priority. Officials should maintain constant coordination with public representatives to address public concerns. He called for special attention to be paid to health and education in mountainous areas. He urged continued efforts to ensure the timely availability of helicopter ambulances and improve healthcare facilities in remote areas. Any proposals for construction-related work that need to be transferred by any department to another department should be sent promptly. Responsibility for delays should be fixed for the respective departments.

The Chief Minister directed officials to prioritize the issues raised by the MLAs through the respective departmental secretaries. He also directed that pending cases at the Forest Department level related to the Chief Minister’s announcements be reviewed separately. He directed the Chief Secretary to organize a comprehensive review meeting before the monsoon season, taking into account the challenges of the rainy season. Works related to flood control should be completed on time.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete all preparations on time for the upcoming Chardham Yatra. Periodic meetings should be held with the Hotel Association to resolve their issues regarding commercial cylinders. All arrangements for the Yatra should be strengthened.

Cabinet Minister Bharat Chaudhary, Karnaprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal, Tharali MLA Bhupal Ram Tamta, Kedarnath MLA Asha Nautiyal, Devprayag MLA Vinod Kandhari, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary Shri R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretaries Shailesh Bagoli, Nitesh Jha, Dilip Jawalkar, Sachin Kurve, Ravinath Raman, S.N. Pandey, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar, Dhiraj Garbyal, heads of various departments and the concerned District Magistrate were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
