Dehradun: Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dehradun organized a free health camp in District Jail, Sudhowala, Dehradun. In the health camp, doctors conducted medical examination of the prisoners and gave advice. Free tests and free medicines were also distributed in the camp by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
The camp was inaugurated on Saturday by DIG Jail, Dehradun Dadhi Ram Maurya. 300 male and female prisoners took advantage of the camp. Dr. Ashutosh Tripathi and Dr. of Medicine Department of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dehradun. Dr. Manik, Dr. Anuradha Kapil from Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Dr. Saurabh Nautiyal from ENT Department, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh from Ophthalmology Department, Dr. Aastha Jain from Psychiatry Department gave medical advice to the prisoners. Counselor Dr. Kanchan Dobhal counseled the prisoners. ECG, blood sugar, blood pressure tests were also conducted free of cost by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Free medicines were distributed to the prisoners by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
DIG Jail Dadhi Ram Maurya, Jailor Pawan Kumar Kothari, Jail Medical Officer Dr. Ankit Gusain, Jail Pharmacists Anil Singh Sajwan, Mini Chauhan, Sandeep Negi, Deputy Senior Public Relations Officer Harishankar Gaur, Public Relations Officer Dinesh Ratudi had a special contribution in making the camp successful.
