To realize the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand’s vision of a Drug-Free Devbhoomi 2025, the SSP, Dehradun, has directed all subordinates to identify those involved in illegal drug trafficking in their respective areas and take strict legal action against them, as well as to regulate delivery boys delivering household goods/food.
In compliance with these orders, during a night check on 08/12/2025, the Kotwali Raiwala police team arrested three drug smugglers: 1- Fuzail, son of Zeeshan, 2- Wasim, son of Maulana Adil, and 3- Ajay alias Monu, son of Shamsher, from different locations with illegal drugs. 13.30 grams of illegal smack was recovered from Fuzail’s possession, 18.64 grams of illegal smack from Wasim, and 158 grams of illegal hashish from Ajay alias Monu. Accused Fuzail and Wasim work as delivery boys in Blinkit company, who were delivering drugs under the guise of delivering household goods. Separate cases were registered against the three accused under the NDPS Act in Kotwali Raiwala.
*Interrogation details*
During interrogation, accused Fuzail and Wasim told that they both work in Blinkit company, they had purchased the said smack at a cheap price from a person named Ilyas, resident of Sultanpur Chilkana, and while delivering it, they were trying to make profit by selling it to local people/college students at a higher price. The accused were going from Raiwala to Haridwar to sell the recovered smack, when during checking by the police, both of them were arrested from different places.
The accused, Ajay, alias Monu, works as a waiter in Haridwar and had purchased the hashish from Kurukshetra. He was planning to sell it to high-priced gurus to make a profit, but the police arrested him before he could do so. The accused has also previously been jailed for theft in the Kotwali Nagar area of Haridwar. *Name and Address of Arrested Accused*
