In view of realizing the vision of “Drugs Free Devbhoomi 2025” of Chief Minister, Uttarakhand, the Senior Superintendent of Police Dehradun has instructed all the subordinates in their respective areas Instructions have been given to identify the accused involved in smuggling / selling of illegal drugs in the area and take strict legal action against them.
In the same sequence, on 11.06.2025, during the checking campaign being run by Doiwala Police under the police station area, on the information of the informer, female accused Soni wife of late Pradeep Kumar was arrested from near Dudhli Road, Nancy School with 48 grams of illegal smack and Rs 55600 / – earned from the sale of illegal smack. A case was registered against the accused under NDPS Act at Kotwali Doiwala.
The arrested accused is a cunning drug smuggler, against whom several cases related to drug smuggling including Gangster Act have been registered in the past at Kotwali Doiwala and accused Soni is a history sheeter of Kotwali Doiwala.
