*Dehradun: SSP Doon Pramod Singh Dobal announced a reward for the absconding accused in the case of a student’s death in a fight in the Premnagar area.*
*A reward of 25,000 rupees each was announced for the seven absconding accused in the case.*

On the night of March 23, 2026, Divyanshu Jatrana, a young man who was seriously injured in a fight between two groups of students in Kehri village, Premnagar, died in the hospital during treatment. Based on the complaint filed by the family members, a case was registered at the Premnagar police station under sections 3(5)/61(2)/103(1)/191(2) of the IPC. A case has been registered.
Taking prompt action in this matter, the police arrested four accused involved in the incident and sent them to jail. Interrogation of the arrested accused and review of CCTV footage related to the incident revealed the names of seven other accused involved in the incident. Police are continuously raiding all possible locations to arrest them. Due to the accused continuing to remain absconding, the police have obtained non-bailable warrants from the court against all seven accused. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun has announced a reward of 25,000 rupees each on all seven wanted accused.
