Dehradun: Bomb threat to Kailash Hospital
Dehradun, June 14, 2025: Today at around 6:30 pm, an email threatening a bomb blast was received by an unknown person on the email id of Kailash Hospital, Dehradun. In the email, there was a threat of blowing up the hospital with a bomb. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Senior Superintendent of Police Dehradun, Ajay Singh directed immediate action. The police team reached the spot along with SOG, bomb squad and dog squad and conducted a thorough search of all the wards, OPD, basement, parking and other sensitive places of the hospital. No suspicious object was found during the investigation. The hospital administration has been instructed to be extra vigilant. It has been learned that other branches of Kailash Hospital including Ghaziabad have also received similar threatening emails. Cyber cell has been informed for technical investigation of the email and tracing of the mail id has been started.
