UHRC took action on the hunger of 2 tigers

Dehradun:Regarding the two tiger cubs in Malsi Deer Park, Dehradun Zoo, the in-charge of the zoo Vinod Lingwal says that their daily diet is 10 kg buffalo meat and both the cubs fast on Tuesdays. It is a big question that how do these cubs know when Tuesday will come and when the next day will come and they are being kept hungry for 24 hours on Tuesdays. How will these mute creatures stay hungry for 24 hours? Like humans, these mute creatures also have life. How will those who eat 10 kg meat daily for 6 days a week stay hungry on the seventh day?

Social, RTI and human rights activist Bhupendra Kumar Laxmi filed a complaint in the Human Rights Commission of Uttarakhand on the above case that in February this year, two tiger cubs were brought to Dehradun Zoo from Ramnagar. They were kept under the supervision of experts in the rescue center located in the zoo. Both the cubs were tranquillized from Vela Rescue Center and brought to Doon by road with a team of doctors. Both of them have been named Bhola and Raja. Bhola is about five years old and Raja is three years old.
