In a swift action by the Special Task Force, a huge quantity of banned drugs was recovered

🔶 *STF’s ANTF Dehradun team recovered a consignment of 18,000 banned Tramadol capsules from Haridwar area.*

🔶 *Large quantity of banned narcotics recovered in the swift action of the Special Task Force.*

🔶 *The value of the recovered Tramadol capsules was estimated to be in lakhs of rupees.*

In accordance with the instructions issued by Director General of Police, Uttarakhand, Deepam Seth, under the “Drugs Free Devbhoomi” campaign of Chief Minister Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami, Senior Superintendent of Police, STF Uttarakhand, Ajay Singh has directed the Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) to take effective action against the accused involved in the drug trade in the state and to effectively curb the drug trade spreading in the state by running continuous campaigns.

 

In the same sequence, the ANTF team of Special Task Force Uttarakhand recovered 18,000 banned Tramadol capsules from Landhaura area of Haridwar district. The recovered capsules “Acetaminophen, Tramadol Hydrochloride & Dicyclomine Hydrochloride Capsules” fall under the banned narcotic category. The recovered goods have been sealed and necessary legal action is being taken by registering a case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act.

The STF/ANTF is gathering information about the forward and backward links of the recovered goods. The gang involved in this type of illegal activity will be exposed soon.

For action against drug traffickers, immediately contact the nearest police station or STF/ANTF Uttarakhand. The STF’s actions will continue under the Drugs-Free Devbhoomi campaign.
