Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted a detailed review of the Chief Minister’s announcements related to the assembly constituencies of Didihat, Gangolihat, Kapkot, and Bageshwar at the Secretariat on Monday. During the meeting, the Chief Minister gave clear instructions to ensure prompt action on announcements for which government orders have not yet been issued. He said that government orders should be issued on pending announcements within a maximum of 20 days, so that there is no delay in the implementation of the schemes.
The Chief Minister directed officials to work based on the state government’s motto of “simplification, resolution, resolution, and satisfaction.” He said that problems arising in public welfare works should be resolved promptly. Problems arising in the implementation of schemes should be resolved effectively by coordinating with the MLAs of the respective areas, so that the pace of development work remains intact.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister directed all District Magistrates to regularly review matters related to forest land transfer at the district level. He said that obstacles to development works should be removed by expediting forest land-related processes. He also stressed the need to strengthen departmental coordination in this matter.
The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to form a coordination committee of the concerned departments for the maintenance of roads constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). He said that this committee should regularly monitor road maintenance work to ensure smooth and safe travel in rural areas.
Keeping in mind the rainy season, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that patchwork work on all roads is completed before the monsoon season. The Chief Minister also directed special attention to the development of sports infrastructure. He said that in places where land has been made available for playgrounds, the necessary funds should be released within 15 days so that construction work can commence soon and better sports facilities can be provided to the youth.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed to expedite the work of widening the motorway from Kanalichhina to Pipli Bagdigaon. He also directed to operate a pre-secondary school alongside the Government Model Primary School, Kapkot, and to make all necessary arrangements at the Bageshwar District Hospital for the convenience of patients.
The Chief Minister directed all officials in the meeting to give top priority to public welfare works and ensure the effective implementation of all schemes in a timely manner. He stated that the state government is committed to the overall development of the state and no laxity will be tolerated.

Meenakshi Sundaram, Special Principal Secretary Amit Sinha, Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, S.N. Pandey, concerned departmental secretaries, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, District Magistrate Pithoragarh Ashish Bhatgain, District Magistrate Bageshwar Akanksha Konde were present through virtual medium.
