*A farewell ceremony was held at the Police Lines to bid farewell to retiring police personnel*

Today, on 28-02-2026, in the presence of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, a farewell ceremony was held at the Police Lines, Dehradun, for the retiring police personnel who will retire in February 2026. In his address during the farewell ceremony, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, wished the retiring police personnel good health and long life after retirement. He stated that they would always remain an integral part of the police family and assured them that the police family would always stand by them for every possible assistance in the future.
During the farewell ceremony, the SSP Dehradun gave a warm farewell to the retiring personnel by presenting them with shawls, mementos, and gifts. He expressed his hope that the police force would continue to benefit and guide them in the future.
During the ceremony, the retiring police personnel shared their experiences regarding the problems and challenges they faced during their service and the efforts they made to resolve them. The Senior Superintendent of Police, Dehradun, encouraged all the police personnel present to learn from these experiences and emulate them in their own duties.
The details of the police personnel retiring today are as follows:*

His service span was 39 years, 11 months, and 19 days. During their service, they served in Meerut, Tehri Garhwal, and Dehradun district.
*2- Veer Singh, Sub-Inspector, Sub-Inspector*
His service period was 40 years, 04 months, and 27 days. During his service, he served in 6 PAC Meerut, 44 PAC Meerut, 40 PAC Haridwar, Haridwar, Chamoli, and Dehradun district.
*3- Asha Rawat Bhandari, M.H.C. 389, Na0Pu0*
His service period was 23 years, 10 months, and 08 days. During his service, he served in Dehradun district.
*04: Prem Lal Khanduri, H.C.M.T.*
His service period was 41 years, 04 months, and 23 days. During his service, he served in 39 PSC Mirzapur, 40 PAC Haridwar, IRB II and Dehradun district.
*5- Yogendra Kumar, Leading Fireman*
His total service period was 34 years, 11 months and 14 days. During his service, he served in Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Dehradun district.
The Superintendent of Police, City/Rishikesh/Vikasnagar, all Circle Officers, other officers and family members of the retiring personnel were present during the farewell ceremony.
