Dehradun: The farewell ceremony of the students of the undergraduate 2022-25 batch was organized on Monday in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Shri Guru Ram Rai University. In this ceremony organized by the junior students in honor of their seniors, while on the one hand the dreams of the future were seen floating in the eyes of the students, on the other hand, along with the happiness of moving forward, the pain of leaving was also reflected.
Sri Guru Ram Rai University President Srimahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj, while sending his best wishes to the students on this occasion, said that he has full faith that the students passing out from SGRR University will bring glory to both the university and the country. In his message, he said that hard work, honesty and dedication are the key to moving forward in life.
On this occasion, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Preeti Tiwari said that this is a very emotional occasion when we bid farewell to our students for the future. On one hand there is sadness and on the other hand there is happiness that we are sending our students to work for the society and the country. She said that this is the first NEP batch of the Faculty of Humanities which is successfully passing out. On this occasion, Prof. Geeta Rawat wished all the students a better future and motivated them to always do the best. Prof. Ashish Kulshreshtha said that we have full faith in our students that they will always bring glory to the institute.
In the farewell party, the students attracted everyone’s attention with cultural presentations as well as ramp walk. In the farewell party, the students also won many titles. The title of Miss Farewell was given to Kusum Joshi. Zubair Malik was Mr. Farewell. Mr. Perfect was Amit and Miss Perfect was Aanya Tyagi.
During the ceremony, all the teachers, non-teaching staff and a large number of students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences were present.
