Today on 22.06.2024, as per the instructions of *Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh*, a verification campaign was conducted by forming different teams on a large scale for outsiders/tenants under the Clementown police station area. By forming 03 teams in the police station area, a verification campaign was conducted for outsiders and tenants residing in Post Office Road, Gurudwara Colony, Turner Road etc. under the police station area.
During the campaign, verification of outsiders, tenants and suspicious persons residing in the area was done. And in the action, a total of 30 challan fines amounting to Rs. 300,000 were imposed under Section 83 of the Police Act against the landlords for not getting the tenants verified. 52 suspicious persons were brought to the police station and interrogated and necessary action was taken for verification.
